Almost midnight…

The weather is spreading cold wave of air, even blowing ice on face…

The moon is up there, being unaware of the coming eclipse…

Shadows…frozen breaths…soulless bodies…

Sharp screams…the following deep silence…

Smell of forbidden love…friendship on the same boat with hostility…

Danger and caution…

They are back!

The (lovely) vampire story “Twilight Saga” is just going on with “Eclipse” which will be meeting the audience on the 30th of June…Fans are all on alert counting the days to meet the beautiful vampire family “The Cullens”, the extraordinary girl Bella Swan stuck between the vampires and the werewolves, and the scary yet gracious wolf gang…

Just last night i went through the previous parts of the “Twilight”  saga and “New Moon” to refresh the essential points in mind and to re-remember at what phase the story was pending…

If you are yet not included in the Twilight saga, get a glimpse of it from the following trailer and get ready to believe all those fairy tales and monster stories might just be true!

430946180600282surrogatesOn friday night i went to cinema after a long break to see the new movie of Bruce Willes…Surrogates. No need to mention that his movies meet the high level of standards mostly and this one was surely one of them. It is categorized as action/science-fiction. Shortly regarding the topic-line…there are surrogates of people used in daily life. Surrogates do the work or have the fun and the human beings just manage and witness the happenings all in safe at their homes until there occurs a murder of a surrogate which also causes the death of its real owner. Then things get complicated and it becomes more difficult to distinguish between the real and the copy, between the good and the bad. I really enjoyed the movie hence rated it as 5/5.

The second movie i have seen within this week is 30 Days of Night, which30days3up2 is a horror movie as can be deduced by its name. A group of vampires assaults a town in Alasca where it is night (no sun rise) for 30 days hence it has no connection with the rest of the world. The movie tells about the struggle of a handful of people who witness the murder of their family or neighbors yet have to think about his/her survival at the same time. The movie was not that scary but the scenes floaded with blood were quite disgusting in real sense. Well, some scenes were hair-rising  i can say but frankly speaking i did not like the way it ends. The end was very romantic which was not appropriate for a scary movie i believe so i rated it as 4/5!

Lestat%20and%20Jesse(Jesse%27s%20final%20breath%20as%20mortal)I am sure each and every visitor of my blog now knows that i became a big vampire fan as soon as finishing Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, which introduced Edward Cullen to the whole literary world. On a small tracking, i came to know almost all of the book blogs spared some place for Edward let it be via Twilight movie or the book and i observed especially the teenage girls are enchanted by him rather than getting scared.

Soon after consuming Edward’s intoxicating vampire story, i started to look for more vampire stories as clearly it became a habit of mine being surrounded by them rather than a timepass (it is like wanting more soon after tasting the first drop of blood) 😀

This month i read “Vittorio” by Anne Rice first. Vittorio is a teenage vampire who is turned into one by his lover Ursula unwillingly and unexpectedly. He is partially innocent yet delightful on drinking blood.

After digesting Vittorio’s sad story, i watched the movie “The Vampire Lestat” who is again made eternal by a master vampire to keep him as a company for himself. Again innocent but unable to resist to blood.

Vittorio and Lestat are more like a nightmare for human beings by both their evil sides and vampirous charm,  no matter how much Vittorio struggles to keep his purity safe and no matter how Lestat still regrets for his first hunt. As for Edward, needless to say, he is like an angel rather than a vampire, his decent character, his thirst for love, his agony for his lost soul are making him more human less vampire.

And checking at bookstores, i noticed some other books on the shelves (some are new publications of the old books, others are totally brand new put forward for the hungry readers after the popularity of Twilight) all about vampires, adding new members to the gang.

Still it doesn’t matter how handsome they are, it doesn’t matter how lovable their looks are,  it doesn’t matter they were unwilling humans once, it doesn’t matter they seek mercy losing their souls and it doesn’t matter how they differ, in the end they all drink blood!
