While i was setting up my room today, i heard a weak whisper calling my name, “Hey Choti!” I was surprised as i was alone in my room at the moment, there was no one else visible. I stood still for a while and concentrated on the silence of the walls and windows. There was no voice at all. “I must have been mistaken” told myself and kept on doing my work till i heard the second voice which was a bit stronger than the first one, “Hey, we are talking to you!” Now that made me freaked out. I looked around screening the whole room with my eyes before running out in screams. But then my eyes hooked on my little friends who were smiling at me as if nothing happened. “Guys, it was you, right?” They giggled altogether. “Stop laughing now! You really scared me you bad kidos.” I was angry for a second but it all disappeared when i came face to face with them; while their wide-open eyes were focused on me in anxiety being unable to guess what would my next action be, this time i burst into laughing.

“Yes kidos, what is the problem?” They kept silence for a while as if they were deciding the spokesman among them and Miss Ladybug (being the older) took the floor,

“We heard you have a blog.”

“Yes, that is true but who told you this?”

“We heard about it while you and your hubby were talking about it”

“Ahan…Ummm so?”

“We also heard you make people popular like Shah Rukh Khan or Rahul Roy so we kindly request you to make us popular as well.”

On hearing this i just couldn’t help myself laughing like anything for minutes and i could stop only when i reliazed that they were frowning with an upset face.

“Listen kidos, those people you just mentioned are already famous. Their popularity has nothing to do with me. I just share my likes or dislikes, my positive or negative thoughts or feelings on fames. Understand?”

This time baby turtle started to talk with an utmost excitement in her tone being the younger, “That means you can introduce us to your readers, and you can also kindly mention how much you love us, can’t you?”

I smiled and nodded which caused a festival atmosphere in the room supported by their clapping with their tiny, cute hands. Then they took their best posture to produce the perfect photo saying “cheese” altogether 🙂

Here we go kidos…in the below photo let me introduce you (from left to right) Miss Ladybug, Mr. Doggie (aka Indi), Miss Baby Turtle and Miss Rabbit (aka Pinkie). These are my little friends decorating my bedroom sitting in a wooden box the whole day. They are friendly, cute, warm and lovable friends. They are good at making you smile or occupying your guests’ babies at times. And most importantly, each one has its own meaning, reminding me of a time period or a moment in my life!

I love you kidos 🙂

Since i watched the movie aashiqui, i have been a big fan of Rahul Roy, and again since then i have been searching on net about his life, his career, his films, his photos, his videos, etc. Being out of India, it seems it is almost impossible for me to reach his movies, especially the old ones…And net search results are not so brilliant as well…

However what i got from Wikipedia is that,

Rahul Roy (born February 9, 1968) is an Indian film actor, who works in Bollywood films. He debuted in the hit Mahesh Bhatt production Aashiqui (1990) for which he is famous for. His popularity increased with the 1992 film Sapne Saajan Ke, in which he was helped by having the music of Nadeem Shravan, with Kumar Sanu’s vocals, that he picturised. His most famous hits include “Tu Meri Zindagi Hai” and “Ab Tere Bin Jee Lenge Hum” and “Jaane Jigar Jaan-e-Man”. He was also one of the first Hindi film actors who fashioned the long hair mane. Subsequent to his first movie’s resounding success, star wannabes rushed to the salons asking for a “Rahul Roy” haircut. He won the game show Bigg Boss by public vote. Bigg Boss was the Indian version of Celebrity Big Brother, currently being produced by Endemol India for Sony Entertainment Television.

Rahul began his acting career in the 1990 film Aashiqui, a Mahesh Bhatt production as the lead actor with newcomer Anu Agarwal. The film was a hit and made him a popular actor and was the reason, he is known for. He was one of the first ever Hindi film actors who fashioned the long hair. After his resounding success in Aashiqui, he worked in another romantic hit, Sapne Saajan Ke (1992) with Karisma Kapoor. He worked in several romantic films throughout early 1990s, but the movies did not do well. In late 1990s, he appeared in movies as a supporting actor in hit movies because his films as a lead actor flopped.

After his film Aashiq (2001), Roy didn’t act in films for several years. He returned to acting after four years in Meri Aashiqui (2005), in which he was the lead actor. His most recent film was the comedy film, Naughty Boy (2006). He also appeared on television program Bigg Boss, Indian version of Celebrity Big Brother in 2006. He won the game show by public votes on January 26, 2007.

Well, although the luck, fate, life or whatever it is, did not smile at him pretty much, at least he still have strong fans like me :p I wish he could produce much more movies during 90s…Below is the video of one of the famous song “tu meri zindagi hai” (You are my life) from the movie Aashiqui…Before finishing my post, let me put a note here: If you know any site or any way to see his movies, please do contact me 🙂

aashiqui I found this movie on net just by chance. I had never heard about it before but looking at its poster it seemed to me it was full of extreme romance and i was not wrong at all…

It is about two lovers, the strength of whose love is exposed to a series of tests consisting of the obtacles life brings forward. It was one of those classical yet fascinating bollywod movies of 90s with all those weird hairstyles and clothes (which we were admiring so much at those times 😆 )

The movie is full of slow-flow romantic songs from the start to the end quite frequently…My favourites are mein duniya bhulangi and jaana jiger janemann.

The real thing i want to point out is about the leading actor Rahul Roy. I had never seen him before neither heard about him. So when the movie started and when i met him first time, i was asking myself  “who is this skiny kido?”…In the coming minutes my eyes started to get used to him and surprisingly i found him quite cute and talented in the next 30 minutes. I was so impatient to “google” him even not to wait for the movie end. And the shock was lying within the google image pages for me 😡  See how that little kid turned into an adult and note how much he changed…

In my view, the way he looks might still be the same yet the emotions it conveys, the energy it renders have totally changed.

Now i got to know why i am scared of the TIME and the things it can do to us…And now i know it is important what you leave behind when you leave this world, it is important how the people will remember you…As i said i don’t know much about Rahul Roy, i have no idea what he could succeed or could not but i can say he gained another fan (me) in his fan circle not because of this movie itself but because of his really natural acting, his innocent looks, and cute smile within this movie…

My rate: 3/5!
