GARDEN STATE

Today I want my favorite movie to take its place on my blog. I had watched it one or two years back (I can’t remember exactly the first time I watched it as I saw it on every occasion I felt like) on the advice of a friend of mine…

Yes, I m talking about GARDEN STATE. At first it sounds like a one of those superficial Hollywood movies but after the audience meets with the movie, then it is understood that it bears much more than this. It has the skills, it has the hard-work, creativity, imagination, professionalism, and it has the life itself…

The movie starts telling about a young man who has to go back to his hometown on the death of his mother. On the other hand, he has to face with his past as well as with his future…He has to be brave with his semi-successful, hardly-organized life circle…His hesitant moves, his indecisive feelings, slight and uncertain actions towards the familiar faces and events back in town start to get a real and bold shape with the addition of a “cute” love into his life…

A young woman full of spirits, who very well knows to enjoy of each moment of life, so lively, so energetic, “weird” but sweet at the same time looking at the world from a different, positive and cheerful window. These two first developed a friendship spending fantastic time together in town and this friendship turns into love…

However, towards the end when the time of separation is close, the events and feelings get complicated…Now it is high time for them to give an important decision!
